Artists in Residence
Susan St LawrenceMy ceramic practise takes four avenues:
My sculpture is expressive narrative and explores the universe of inner stories, dreams, memories and alter-egos we carry around inside of us. The work is gestural, and always shows evidence of its making and firing. It often incorporates contributions from ceramic friends; a significant emotional element for me. Sculpture allows me to express my artistic visions. To learn more about Susan and her work http://www.susanstlawrenceceramics.com/about.html |

The Waikato Society of Potters is proud to support five Artists in residence within our community and studio. Our philosophy is to provide spaces and places for merging artists to hone their skills in a supportive environment that encourages and fosters learning, teaching and creative opportunities to allow our AR's to flourish and grow their art.
