You're invited to the Big Day of Clay, the Waikato Society of Potters Open Day!
📅 Saturday 7 November, 10am–2pm
📍 Ward Park Arts Centre, 2 Seddon Rd, Hamilton
Come and get your hands muddy, have a go on the pottery wheel, and find out why making things out of clay is so good for the soul. It's also the perfect chance to check out your local pottery club, take a look around our studio, and chat to us about classes and membership.
There's something for all ages: • Slippery Dip • Paint a Pot • Try the Pottery Wheel • Raku Firings • Make a Pinch Pot • Raffles • Pottery Sales (get some Christmas shopping done!)
Activities are just $2 each, to cover the cost of clay and firing. We'll fire and glaze everything you make, and it'll be ready to collect three weeks later.
Bring the whānau, bring your friends, and come play with us! 🤗
