EQUIPMENT
Equipment available at our facilities:
- 13 electric pottery wheels
- Slab roller
- 2 extruders with dies including a range of hollow dies
- Pugmill
- Wet cupboards and drying cabinet
- Large collection of moulds
- Spray-booth
- 1 gas kiln, 4 electric kilns and 1 wood-fired soda kiln
- Equipment for hire: portable wheels x 2; pugmill.
SERVICES
- Firing costs are charged by volume/piece, or full kiln hire for members who have a kiln licence. A kiln firing service is available for community groups. Price schedule is available at the studio.

Tailored one-off events for:
- Business Social Clubs | Community Groups & Private Parties.
KILN CHARGES
- You will be required to pay for the hire of the kiln on the day you load it
- You can also pay per piece – see the chart in the studio for more details
- Experienced ceramists may load their own kilns provided they have a kiln licence awarded by WSP (prior experience is taken in to account)
- Any glaze-runs that damage a kiln shelf need to be repaired by you;
If unrepairable then the cost of a new shelf will be added to your kiln charges - info@waikatopotters.co.nz for current kiln hire rates.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
We run four terms of classes each year. Pop in and talk to one of our friendly Artists in Residence, Studio Assistant or Manager about which class would best suit you or your child's needs.

- Be sure to book your space in a class before paying
- By cash or Eftpos in the studio

TERMS
The Waikato Society of Potters (WSP) reserves the right cancel a class if it fails to achieve minimum enrollment numbers, for reasons outside of our control. A full refund will be given if the class is cancelled by the WSP less a 5% credit card fee.
If a student cancels their enrollment within 72 hours of the first class starting, no refund will be given.
If a student cancels their booking less than 7 days prior to the event a 50% administration charge will be deducted from the refund.
Should a student cancel their enrollment any time prior to the above a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
