All unsold work can be collected from ArtsPost on 25 September 10am-12pm or from Waikato Society of Potters from 26th September and no later than 2 October 2023.
The selection process will be done by two members of the WSP Committee. The selectors’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The exception are the People's Choice Award, which will be voted on by visitors throughout the exhibition and announced after the exhibition closes; and the Mug award to be judged by Jenni Taris.
All work must have been created in the last 15 months and be the sole work of the member, unless it is a joint work between two or more financial members, each of whom must be listed on the entry form. The work must be wholly original and not a copy of, or otherwise directly derived from, material seen elsewhere. Submissions previously exhibited at ArtsPost are not eligible for this exhibition.
A commission of 25% + GST will be taken off the selling price by ArtsPost. Waikato Society of Potters is registered for GST. Prices must be shown in complete dollars and include GST. All entries must be for sale. All pots must be securely packaged in reusable packaging, which has the following information printed and attached to the box: a photo of the work, the name of the work, your name and your phone number. Also attach a copy of your entry form (a copy is emailed to you if you complete the online form); one copy per entry. It is the responsibility of the potter to deliver and pick up their work. A second copy of the form should be provided to the Waikato Society of Potters manager. Please affix a label to the underside of each work with the artist name and the name of the work to assist us with identification.
Insurance is the responsibility of the potter.
All due care will be taken with every aspect of the exhibition, but the organisers will not be responsible for clerical errors, nor unforeseen mistakes, including accidents or breakages.
