And so it begins.. Term 1!

The Mighty Waikato Pottery Throwdown

Nestled amongst the luscious oak trees of the WSP carpark, The 'Throwdown' will take place at the studio on Sat 25th Pēpuere/Feb 2-5pm and is open to all members (experienced or beginner). There will be a variety of challenges to take part in with bragging privileges + choccys for the winners. This is about spending time together and having fun + a kai during the day, if you'd like to bring a plate. If you are keen to take part, please sign up here.

Your chance to win a 2-hour tutored session with Yasmin Davis

We will be having various raffles throughout the year. The tickets for our first raffle are $5 each and available for purchase at the studio. The raffle will be drawn on 28th Pēpuere/Feb. This is a great way to support the studio and if you're lucky enough, win a 2-hour tutored session of your choice. It could be glazing, decorating, throwing etc.

Making Friends

Sarah Lee's exhibition will be at Wallace Gallery in Morrinsville until the 12th Māehe/March with an opening tomorrow morning at 11am, featuring sculptural works.

A Flaming Success

Our club wood firing was lots of fun! We will have a mini display in the cabinets at the studio with some of the finished pieces from sometime next week. Lots of colour this time round.

Duncan Shearer's 2023 Workshops
