Countdown to the exhibition, New workshop and classes, & Raku club

Exhibition entry forms due next week

We are counting on ALL our members, from new to experienced artists, to exhibit with us at our upcoming annual exhibition. It's about sharing the joy of ceramics with the community, although there are some great prizes to be won. This is all made possible by the generosity of our sponsors including Hamilton Creative Communities NZ, Macs Mud Clay Company, CCG, GR & CM Vowles, Yasmin and Mark Davis, and Jenni Taris.

Raku club firing - Saturday 26 August

9.30am-1pm

During Play With Clay and open to members and non-members, we invite you to get up close to a kiln firing process that produces breathtaking results. It's a pretty exciting event involving flames, sparks and smoke.

Please read the details about the event, especially if this is your first raku firing. You will need bisqueware ready and make sure you use the glazes labelled for raku. If you haven't got a piece bisqued on time, you can still participate - book a spot and we will find a piece of bisqueware for you to experiment with. Booking is appreciated so David can be prepared.
