Waiclay National Ceramic Exhibition 2023

Invitation from Janet Smith (President Waiclay team):

The Waiclay team are very proud to announce the opening of the Waiclay National Ceramic Exhibition 2023.

We would love to get the support of potters from all over the Waikato - come along to the opening. But if you wish a quiet look after. 60 pieces have been selected so a great variety,  and you will also see our selector Greg Daly's latest work. We are privileged to have Greg Daly here from Australia. There is a video presentation of Greg producing his pieces running at exhibition too.

Remember Friday 3rd - 5.30pm ArtsPost for the opening

Then we all are out at my Woolshed Pottery for a three day workshop with Greg.

Saturday is the opening of Ceramics at Roto-O-Rangi - this is an exhibition of some of the unselected work - a must see.

The Ceramics at Roto-O-Rangi exhibition will run for three days - 4th - 5th - 6th November from 10am to 3pm

If you are able to, we are also holding a dinner on Saturday Night. It will be $28 for a catered meal, then John Parker (Portage Awards selector) and Greg Daly are doing a talk about their selecting process.  After that Trish Seddon will take a Twilight Tour down to the Roto-O-Rangi Hall to see the exhibition.

Please contact - Fiona Tunnicliffe if you are coming to the dinner so we can get numbers by 1st November
