Most of our Term 1 classes finished up this week, and we know that lots of people are hanging out for the Term 2 classes to be loaded online - well, they're going live tomorrow at 9am! Check out the offerings below, and get in quick to secure your spot.
Reports are that the Phoenix wood firing on the weekend went well, and this Saturday the firers will get to open up the kiln and see the results of their efforts! If you're around on the weekend, head over to the corner of the carpark and check out the pots as they unload them.
Lots more to read about below - get into it 😊

Our lovely Larissa is moving on :(
We're sad to report that Larissa is moving out of her WSP studio and heading away to explore new adventures.
We are so grateful to Larissa for her mahi and valuable contributions at WSP for many years now. Larissa has experienced pretty much all the different roles here at the club, including being a Diploma student, Artist in Residence, Volunteer, Tutor and Staff member, and we will miss having her and her expertise in the studio.
To say thank you and goodbye in our traditional WSP, foodie-focused style, we are going to share a pot-luck kai on Thursday 2nd April at 12.30pm - feel free to come along and join us!
Full-day pottery workshops for the kids
Not long now until the April School Holidays are upon us! We've got three great workshops lined up for the kids - and all of them are full-day, immersive creative experiences.
The dates for these are:
Thursday, 9th April
Tuesday, 14th April
Thursday, 16th April
The power outage has been re-scheduled
The meter maintenance didn't go ahead this week, so we're trying again for Tuesday the 31st March. The plan is the same and will hopefully cause as little disruption as possible!
Wells Electrical will be doing some maintenance on the power meter box for the whole Arts Centre, next week on Tuesday 31st from 8am. This may mean they have to cut the power for up to 45 minutes.
We've planned the start time so it will be all done and dusted by the time our Open Studio session starts at 9.30am, so fingers crossed the maintenance is straight forward and stays on schedule.
This does mean that the kilns will not be firing on Monday the 30th, to ensure they're not running when the power is turned off. Please do bear with us while we catch up on kiln loading and firing through the rest of the week.

All other tiers of studio fee remain the same
The new firing fees are now online, and new calculation tables and kiln hireage info will be in the studio from 1st April.
