Kia ora lovelies

School holidays are officially underway, and our first School Holiday Workshop kicked off beautifully, with happy kids, muddy hands, and some excellent creations already on the shelves. Huge thanks to our tutors for making it such a great start.

We’ve got two more School Holiday Workshops happening next week, and we’re looking forward to welcoming more young potters into the studio for some creative fun.

Rick Rudd Workshop – one extra place available

Good news for anyone who missed out earlier — Rick has generously made some more spaces available in his Sculptural Teapots workshop! After offering these to the waitlist, we still have one place left - first in, best dressed.

Saturday 2nd May, 10am - 4pm, and Sunday 3rd May, 10am - 4pm

Instantly recognisable, Rick Rudd's ceramic creations are a wonder to behold. They combine form and function to the point where the dramatically sculptural designs often mask the functional purpose of the piece. They offer the observer a mystery to be solved.

Over the course of two days, Rick will guide you in building your own teapot in his style, and learning techniques that can be used in your own hand-building practice.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of Aotearoa’s most celebrated ceramic artists, and places have been snapped up quickly.

Find more info and snap up that last spot here.

We have one place available in next week's Tuesday workshop and a few in Thursday's workshop. If you're at a loose end for fun activities for the kids, check them out here.
