Beautiful potters - hello! ❤️

Our School Holiday Workshops wrapped up this week, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful tutors who put so much care, time, and energy into making the programme such a success. With workshops now finished, we’ll be processing all of the work through the kilns over the coming weeks - it's so much fun seeing the kid's imaginations come to life through clay :)

Please note the studio will be closed this Saturday and Sunday for the Fiona Tunnicliffe workshop. During this time, we are not able to accept any pick‑ups or drop‑offs, sorry.

Other than that, we've just got a few reminders and the studio schedule for this week - check it out...

Reminders & What’s Coming Up

AGM – Tuesday 12 May, 6pm
We’d love to see you there. Please come along and be part of the kōrero, hear what’s been happening at the Society, and help shape what’s ahead. We do need members present to reach quorum, so your attendance really does matter.

Term 2 Class Enrolments
Term 2 classes are open now, starting the week commencing 27 April. Many popular classes fill quickly, so if there’s something you’ve been considering, now’s a great time to secure your place. View classes and enrol on our bookings page.

Rick Rudd – Artist’s Talk
A reminder that Rick Rudd’s Artist’s Talk will be taking place on Friday 1st May, 6pm onwards. Rick will share insights into his practice, creative process, and current work. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from a legendary ceramic artist. Entry by donation (going to the Quartz Museum), and bring a kai to share. Find more info and register your interest here.

Annual Exhibition – Save the Dates
A friendly reminder to note the dates for our Annual Exhibition and begin planning work if you’re intending to submit. More information will be shared as the exhibition approaches, but get these dates in your calendar now:

  • 14th August: Entries close

  • 24th - 28th August: Physical entries delivered to WSP studios
